22 November 1835 - Baptized at Behlkow, Kreis Greifenberg, Pommern. Godparents were Johann "Hans" TEWS, Büdner from Lewetzow (the father's brother), Johann Bohlmann from Lewetzow and Caroline Hoppe from Gummin

16 December 1839, age 4 - Sister Caroline Wilhelmina Maria "Marie" TEWS born at Lewetzow

July 1846, age 10 - Emigrated at Stettin, Pommern. Martin Tews, his wife, and three children sailed on the ship Vinzenz Priesnitz.

19 August 1846, age 10 - Immigrated at New York, New York County, New York

12 October 1846, age 10 - Resided at Mequon, Ozaukee County, Wisconsin. The family first settled on the 40 acres of the NE quarter of the SE quarter of section 30, on the west side of today's Granville Road between Donges Bay and Mequon Roads. In 1855 they moved to the SE quarter of the SW quarter of section 20, on the northeast corner of today's Mequon Road and Farmdale Road.

Sometime before 1860 - Mother Maria SCHEDDIN Tews died in U.S.A.

21 March 1878, age 42 - Father Martin TEWS, age 73, died at Mequon

23 December 1878, age 43 - Brother Johann Ferdinand "Ferdinand" TEWS, age 46, died there

31 December 1905, age 70 - Brother's widow Bertha Helena WENDT Tews, age 71, died at Cedarburg, Ozaukee County, Wisconsin

3 February 1914, age 78 - Wife Margaret HANSEN Tews, age 73, died

5 August 1915, age 79 - Died at Lewiston

8 August 1915 - Buried by St John's Evangelical Lutheran Cemetery there
